Thursday, February 26, 2009 was the first dinner of the Foodie Group. With a theme of Comfort Food, this was our homey, winter menu:
- Roasted Tomato Tartlets with Basil Creme Fraiche
- Roasted Leek and Fennel Lasagna with Smoked Mozzarella
- Roasted Squash Puree
- Rice with Dill, Saffron and Lima Beans
- Bitter Greens Salad with Pepitas and Honey Vinaigrette
- Warm Apple Crisp with Homemade Vanilla Ice Cream (too bad we didn't get a picture!)
