Comfort Food Foodie Group Dinner

Thursday, February 26, 2009 was the first dinner of the Foodie Group. With a theme of Comfort Food, this was our homey, winter menu:

  • Roasted Tomato Tartlets with Basil Creme Fraiche
  • Roasted Leek and Fennel Lasagna with Smoked Mozzarella
  • Roasted Squash Puree
  • Rice with Dill, Saffron and Lima Beans
  • Bitter Greens Salad with Pepitas and Honey Vinaigrette
  • Warm Apple Crisp with Homemade Vanilla Ice Cream (too bad we didn't get a picture!)
Beautifully set table.
